Roman Kachniuk
Founder, BCR Group · Strategic Advisor
Engineer and economist by training. During my doctoral studies at Gdańsk University of Technology, I taught students — bridging the worlds of engineering and business taught me that good financial decisions start with a deep understanding of operations.
For 10+ years I advised companies on international expansions — opening businesses across the EU and beyond, managing holding structures, transfer pricing, tax optimization across jurisdictions. Every such project taught me: what works in Poland doesn't work in Germany — and vice versa.
I led several complex bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings for large companies. Crisis management is not just numbers — it's strategic decisions under pressure, saving jobs, negotiating with creditors. I bring that experience to every BCR client today — because making the right financial decisions early is always better than navigating well out of trouble.
I built BCR Group on a simple conviction: your accountant should think about your business, not paste invoices. AI is a tool that hands routine over to technology — so we have time to do what actually adds value: advise, alert, optimize, save you from problems before they arise.

Over 8+ years at EPAM Systems as Lead Software Engineer I designed cloud solutions for companies in e-commerce, life sciences, telemedicine, automotive, and media. Hundreds of thousands of users, real-time transactions, hard regulatory constraints — every project taught me that system reliability isn't just clean code. It's the deployment process, monitoring, retry strategy, audit log of every decision.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Professional and Anthropic Claude Certified Architect. Combining enterprise-grade infrastructure with AI agents is my daily practice today — not an experiment, but the way to build systems that need to be auditable under EU AI Act and GDPR. MACH-first, AWS-native, security-by-design.
